Introduction to Cave Diving
NACD/PSAI/NAUI Introduction to Cave Diving
This is a two-day course involving a minimum 5 cave dives. This is the next step towards a full cave certification as it is an excellent opportunity to swim beyond “natural daylight” and witness more of what cave diving has to offer. The course includes:
- Double 80 cu. ft. aluminum tanks with dual outlet manifold with air/Eanx
- Dive Rite/Halcyon/OMS BCD wings.
- Stainless steel back plate.
- 7 foot low pressure hose.
- Reels/spools.
- 700 lumens LED primary light.
- Dive site fees.
- Certification fee.

- Steve’s 28+ years of teaching experience
The information provided continues from what was presented in the cavern diving course with more skills performed in the open water area and a long list of skills necessary to review and practice during the cave dives. The limits of the course involve one continuous guideline, 1/6 air rule with double tanks and no restrictions.
Pre-requisite: Cavern diving certification.
Steve will be conducting cave dives at Dos Ojos, Taj Mahal, Sac Aktun, PonDerosa, Chac Mool, Tortuga, Mayan Blue, Carwash, Aktun Koh and many more.
